Therapy Explained
Benefits of Counselling:
People seek counselling to help them resolve emotional, psychological and relationship issues. They may be experiencing difficult and distressing events in their lives, such as bereavement, divorce, health issues or job concerns. Or they may have more general underlying feelings of anxiety or dissatisfaction with life.

Psychotherapy addresses the root causes of our suffering by allowing one's voice to be listened to -often for the very first time. Problems helped by psychotherapy include difficulties in coping with daily life; the impact of trauma, and specific mental disorders, like depression or anxiety.

What is Psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy is a longer term and more in-depth than supportive counselling.
Psychotherapy, or talk therapy, is a way to help people with a broad variety of mental illnesses and emotional difficulties. Psychotherapy can help eliminate or control troubling symptoms so a person can function better and can increase well-being and healing. Psychotherapy can help people to alter aspects of their lives that are not working, by deepening self awareness, challenging existing beliefs and ultimately changing.
